Group Leader at AIBN. He has over 20 years of experience in genomics, bioinformatics and RNA biology, with a successful track record in developing and commercializing new RNA technologies that have been widely adopted in research and clinical applications. Professor Mercer is also the Director of the BASE facility, a leading national centre for mRNA manufacturing and research, including the development of new mRNA medicines.
